Fragments of Me – Adeli
With all her energy and dedication to music, she hired me to compose a song that would reflect her unique style and voice.
The project began in Taiwan, where I worked in my personal studio for about a week and a half. During that time, we started shaping the song, and once I arrived in Mexico, we continued working on it in my old room at my parents’ house, as well as at the studio of my father, Gustavo Orozco—a well-known musician in Mexico.
The production process was very collaborative. I composed the lyrics and music, and recorded all the instruments. My dad recorded Adélie’s vocals in his studio and did the premix for her voice.
The final mix and master were done by Willy Krieg at 無心工作室 (Mushin Studio), who also worked on the mix and master of my song Stone of Time | 時の石.
This project has been a really rewarding experience—not just for the chance to work with Adélie, but for the whole journey we went through between Taiwan and Mexico. Each phase had its own magic and challenges, and I’m really happy with the result. This collaboration with Adélie has been something special, and I’m excited to see where her path takes her next.
