Creating the score for the VIA TECH AI video was more than a technical assignment, it was an exercise in translating binary logic into a compelling human drama. The title “Neural Path” is born from my vision of a collaborative future. The “Neural” represents the firing of our own neurons, the spark of human essence, while the “Path” is the road we navigate alongside technology. I wanted the cover art to be the first note of this story: a neuron fused with circuitry, symbolizing a world where AI doesn’t replace us, but amplifies our potential.

The opening of the piece is defined by a slow-burn atmospheric build. I designed this section to mirror the “critical problem” presented in the video, the weight of complexity and the stress of a challenge not yet met. The music acts as a guide through this tension, pulling the listener toward a breakthrough. When the video finally pivots to the solution, the main melody is unveiled for the first time. I chose soaring strings and assertive brass to signal a shift from confusion to clarity. It’s the sound of confidence, the decisive arrival of an answer.
As the narrative shifts to the racing sequence, the dialogue drops away, leaving a void that the music had to fill with pure adrenaline. This is a high-energy transition where the technology is no longer being explained, it’s being proven. I composed a staccato, dramatic drum sequence specifically tailored to synchronize with the sound effects of the autonomous race car. By leaning into rhythmic complexity rather than melody here, I wanted to capture the raw, mechanical intensity of speed and the precision of AI in motion.
The journey concludes with a “victory lap.” To emphasize the company’s expansive vision, I took the original theme and pushed it to its limit. By significantly increasing the tempo and layering in distorted electric guitars and cinematic percussion, the theme evolves from a simple melody into a massive climax. It’s an overwhelming soundscape of victory, a definitive statement that the path we are walking is one of limitless potential.
